On December 8, Shanghai Tengyi Boshi International Freight Forwarding Co LTD received the task of sending 4 million COVID-19 diagnostic kits to Urumqi, Xinjiang Province. After receiving the request to transport the new coronavirus diagnostic reagents, the company attached great importance to it and personally served as the person in charge of the project, asking relevant departments of the company to cooperate fully and fulfill the mission as entrusted.

The supplies were transported over 4,000 kilometers by land, and the temperature of the goods was required to be between -15℃ and -25℃ at all times. Our company packed all the diagnostic reagents into the incubator according to the requirements of GSP, and equipped each incubator with 4G temperature recorder for real-time monitoring. After that, the incubator was loaded into the refrigerated truck with independent refrigeration. The comprehensive and rigorous constant temperature guarantee and strict stability control measures ensured the safety of the COVID-19 diagnostic reagents. In order to ensure the successful completion of the task, our company sent two experienced pilots Wang Shijiang and Yin Fei. The two pilots set off from Shanghai with four million COVID-19 diagnostic kits.

There is a great difference in environmental temperature between Shanghai and Urumqi. Xinjiang was just hit by a cold current. On the 4,000-kilometer long road, the exhaust pipe of a truck froze and cracked on the highway. Even when the temperature in Xinjiang reached minus 20℃ at night, they did not stop to rest, almost all the time in the car. The two drivers took turns to drive around the clock in order to timely deliver diagnostic reagents for COVID-19 to customers and eliminate potential infection risks as soon as possible. In the morning of December 11th, it was finally delivered to the Sinopremedy warehouse of Urumqi high-tech Industrial Development Zone, and a handover ceremony was held. The trip took 49 hours and 22 minutes. The two drivers were suffering from severe fatigue and cold after returning to Shanghai.
